Get your finances back on track.
Beat banks and lenders at their own game.
Live Rich. Retire RICHER.
Sometimes we go through rough patches in life. It’s common for expenses to get ahead of earning, particularly when there is an illness, accident, major car or home repair, or other unforeseen crisis. And sometimes–let’s face it–we just get a little crazy with spending and need help seeing the way back to “in control”.
In any case, we’re here to help you see the way back to the balanced life you want to lead, and we’ll teach you some skills and habits to help you stay there.
Good credit scores are important in getting a home loan approved and with terms that work for your budget. Credit To Humanity helps home buyers understand how lenders look at their financial records and their credit. If you are planning to get a home loan, we can work with you and develop a successful strategy for your loan process. Call Credit To Humanity or click here for a free no obligation credit repair consultation.
We know what property leasing companies generally look for on your credit as well as financial records. We can also contact the specific leasing agency you will be applying with on your behalf to account for any nuances that agency might include in their process. We develop a strategy to help you work towards getting the right rating to qualify you for the lease.
We advise clients on important steps to take in order to get approved. We address questions regarding debt-to-income ratio, credit scores creditors look for, and other credit information found on the three credit bureaus.
What Items Can You Help Me Remove?
How Long Before I See Results?
Typically, our clients will see a modest increase (5-15 points) in their credit score within 35 days. For clients staying with the program for a full nine months, average increases should range from 60-130 points.
Best results are achieved with clients who remain responsive and actively participate in the process. We can help you, but can’t do it all for you.
Why Do Results Vary?
On average, clients who remain responsive and active in the process are able to remove 50%-75% of the negative items from a credit report.
How Much Does This Cost?
We have different packages that suit various situations. Please see our Pricing section below.
If you only have a few items to contest, the Pay Per Delete option might be right for you.
If you have several (more than 10) items to dispute, or if you don’t want a large bill piling up on you, the Monthly Concierge option might be best.
If your credit history doesn’t contain inaccuracies and the issue is elsewhere, then you can see my other financial planning services here.
Is Credit Repair and Education Worth It?
For anyone who is willing to change some behaviors and play the financial game in order to win, this education is both eye-opening and life-changing.
For those who are only looking for a quick fix or are hoping to “get out of” the consequences of past behavior and do not wish to make any changes, then this is probably not worth their time or money.
How Do I Need To Participate In This?
You will be expected to furnish account history and details for each item in dispute, as well as any correspondence received from the creditor or credit bureau within 5 days of receipt.
We make this as easy as possible with our secure online client portal. (We think you’ll agree it’s much better than mailing or driving to an office.)
Is Credit Repair Legal?
Yes, it is. You have rights protected by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We help you assert your rights to creditors and credit bureaus.
Creditors and Credit Bureaus also are expected to follow a set of rules, outlined in the FCRA, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA).
If all rules are not followed by creditors, debt collectors, and credit bureaus, then items affected by infractions must be deleted. In some cases, violations may entitle the consumer to fines and awards. In those instances, we refer clients to a consumer rights attorney to pursue these awards.
How Do I Start?
1. Have a talk with me to determine whether this process can help you. Your situation might be better addressed another way.
2. If this is the right thing, we’ll schedule a full Financial Review. You provide me with your credit reports (I’ll show you how to get them for $1), and a list of your income and “outgo” sources. I’ll spend 1-2 hours with you to determine where you are harming yourself, what you can do to fix it, and how long it will take.
3. Depending on whether inaccuracies in your credit history are a big issue, you might want my help cleaning some things up. If they aren’t, then you might prefer to just pay me for meeting occasionally to review and tighten things up.
